1. Introduction

Welcome to DJ.COMMUNITY ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and applications. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Booking Terms

IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully as it defines the limitations of our platform and our responsibilities regarding bookings.

3.1 Platform Role

DJ.COMMUNITY is purely a marketplace and connection service that facilitates connections between DJs and clients. We provide tools to help users find each other, communicate, and manage their booking arrangements, but we are NOT involved in the actual booking agreements, contracts, or transactions.

3.2 Direct Agreements Between Users

Any booking agreement, contract, or arrangement is made solely and exclusively between the DJ and the client. DJ.COMMUNITY is not a party to any such contract or agreement. All terms, conditions, payments, cancellations, and obligations are between the DJ and client only.

3.3 Payment Processing Disclaimer

DJ.COMMUNITY does not process, handle, or facilitate any payments between DJs and clients. All payments are handled directly between the parties. Our platform may provide tools for users to manually log payment confirmations for their own record-keeping purposes, but these logs are user-reported data only and are not verified, validated, or guaranteed by the platform. We have no involvement in payment arrangements and do not hold, transfer, or manage any funds.

3.4 Platform Not Responsible For:

• Payment Disputes: We are not responsible for any payment disputes, defaults, non-payment, late payment, or financial losses arising from bookings. All payment issues must be resolved directly between the DJ and client.
• DJ Performance: We are not responsible for the quality, professionalism, conduct, punctuality, skill level, equipment, or any other aspect of DJ performance or service delivery.
• Client Conduct: We are not responsible for client conduct, payment reliability, event cancellations, or any client-related issues.
• Booking Fulfillment: We provide no guarantee that any booking will be honored, completed, result in payment, or meet any party's expectations.
• Disputes: We are not responsible for mediating, resolving, or being involved in any disputes between DJs and clients.

3.5 User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for:

• Creating and negotiating their own contracts and agreements
• Obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for events and services
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licenses, and permits
• Conducting their own due diligence on other users
• Handling all aspects of payment arrangements
• Resolving any disputes that may arise

3.6 Check-In System and Data Accuracy

Our platform provides a check-in system and manual payment logging features to help users track their bookings and maintain records. However, all data entered through these systems is user-reported and user-generated. The platform does not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of check-ins, payment logs, or any other user-reported information. This data is provided for informational and record-keeping purposes only.

3.7 Reputation System Disclaimer

The reputation system, including scores, badges, reviews, and ratings, is based entirely on user-generated data and user-reported information. While we strive to maintain the integrity of the reputation system, we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or reliability. Reputation scores should be used as one of many factors when making decisions, and users should conduct their own due diligence.

3.8 Limitation of Liability for Bookings

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DJ.COMMUNITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES, CLAIMS, OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO:

• Bookings made through the platform
• Booking disputes, cancellations, or non-performance
• Payment issues, defaults, or financial losses
• DJ performance, conduct, or professionalism
• Client conduct or payment reliability
• Inaccurate user-reported data, check-ins, or payment logs
• Reliance on reputation scores or reviews
• Any other aspect of the booking process or relationship between users

You expressly acknowledge and agree that you use the booking features at your own risk and that DJ.COMMUNITY provides these features on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

4. Events and Venues Disclaimer

DJ.COMMUNITY provides a platform for users to post, share, and discover events and venue information. Please be aware of the following:

• User-Generated Content: All events and venue information on the Platform are user-generated content. DJ.COMMUNITY does not create, verify, or endorse any events or venues posted by users.
• Accuracy of Information: We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any event information, including but not limited to dates, times, locations, descriptions, ticket prices, or performer lineups. Similarly, we are not responsible for the accuracy of venue information such as addresses, contact details, capacity, or amenities.
• Event Changes and Cancellations: DJ.COMMUNITY is not responsible for any changes to events, event cancellations, postponements, or the quality of events. Users are solely responsible for verifying event details directly with event organizers or venues.
• Independent Verification Required: You must independently verify all event and venue information before making any commitments, purchasing tickets, or attending events. Do not rely solely on information posted on the Platform.
• No Liability: DJ.COMMUNITY shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to attending events, visiting venues, or relying on event or venue information posted on the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for personal injury, property damage, financial loss, or disappointment.
• External Ticket Links: The Platform may provide links to external ticketing websites or services. These links are provided as a convenience only. DJ.COMMUNITY is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, policies, or practices of any external ticketing services, nor are we responsible for any transactions conducted through such services. All ticket purchases are made at your own risk.
• Event Creator Responsibility: If you post event information, you represent and warrant that you have the legitimate authority to promote the event and that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date. You agree to promptly update or remove event listings if details change or if the event is cancelled.

DISCLAIMER: THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THIS PLATFORM REGARDING EVENTS AND VENUES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5. Content Guidelines

You are solely responsible for the content you post, including forum posts, blog entries, and profile information. You agree not to post content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise injurious to third parties. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove or edit such content.

By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DJ.COMMUNITY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
